I was born and raised in Hungary, living most of my life in the capital city, Budapest.  It is a wonderful city with a beautiful landscape on the banks of the legendary Danube River, one of Europe’s greatest rivers.  The region surrounding the picturesque west bank of the river is called Buda.  The classy, historical atmosphere of Buda is the main inspiration for the name of my salon. 

I became quite attached to all that the city of Buda had to offer while running my own beauty salon there for about ten years.  Relationships with many of my clients turned into great friendships that I still cherish.  I truly enjoyed taking care of the health and beauty of their skin and the countless conversations we had together.  I have always tried to provide an atmosphere in my salon where my customers can genuinely relax and enjoy themselves, unaffected by the turmoil of everyday life.   

Toying with the idea of becoming a medical doctor, I spent two years doing medical studies at university.  However, I instead decided to work in the much less hectic world of esthetics and switched to a two-year Beautician Diploma program.  Soon after my first diploma I continued studying and earned a Master Certificate in Esthetics with highest honours.  Participating in countless professional development workshops has allowed me to stay up to date and satisfy my endless curiosity in the field of skin care.

What brought me to Canada was the love of a man…  

Although it was difficult to leave a large piece of my life behind on the hills of Buda, I truly enjoy living in Canada.  I’m fascinated by the vast natural beauty of this country and greatly appreciate the kindness of its people. 

I opened my new salon in Ottawa in October 2008.  I feel lucky that my work gives me great satisfaction and that I can do what I love.  I would love to put all my knowledge and experience to use by helping you and your skin look better!
